Following his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 2019, El Ashry embarked on a journey to transform the company from a lower-margin commodity business to one more focused on growth and efficiency. El Ashry continuously seeks sustainable growth and risk management through the diversification of markets and resources, while instilling a strong and diversified corporate culture. He is no stranger to EPP, serving as the General Manager of the company in 2014 and 2015.
